Ha Na Jang produced an eagle-birdie finish to claim victory at the ISPS HANDA Women's Australian Open by three strokes.

The Korean was one of only three players to break 70 on the final day at Royal Adelaide, with her superb round of 69 coming in the toughest conditions of a windy South Australia Sunday.

Jang, ranked sixth in the world, dropped a shot at the opening hole and went on to endure a frustrating couple of hours.

A run of 11 pars saw her remain on five under, four shots adrift of leader Lizette Salas, but they would have contrasting finishes to the tournament.

Salas had bounced back to nine under with birdies at the ninth and 10th but she carded four bogeys over the last eight holes to finish with a round of 78 at the par-73 venue.Jang took full benefit of her collapse, moving to seven under with birdies at the 13th and 14th and setting up her grandstand finish.

Jang holed a lengthy eagle putt at the 17th and then added a cherry on top at the final hole with another birdie to extend her advantage over the players remaining on course.

None of them could come anywhere near a similar finish with Denmark's Nanna Madsen securing second place thanks to a level-par 73.

Madsen started the day on seven under but dropped a shot at the fourth and went on a run of 11 pars, with her only birdie of the day coming at the penultimate hole.

Australia's Minjee Lee matched Jang's eagle at the 17th and secured a tie for third, moving up from a tie for 16th going into the final day's play.

She joined Ariya Jutanugarn, Haru Nomura and Sarah Jane Smith on six under with Salas having to settle for a tie for seventh in a group of seven women.

World No 1 Lydia Ko could manage no final day fireworks, with 16 pars and two bogeys in a round of 75 that left her in a tie for 46th on two over.
