Today was moving day at the Sime Darby LPGA but instead became a day of standing still for players due to weather delays that suspended play for nearly five hours on Saturday.

After the delay players got back on the course for a little more golf before play was eventually suspended again due to darkness which requires 15 players needing to return to the course early Sunday morning to complete their third round.

Leader Shanshan Feng had played 17 holes before play was suspended for the day. Feng trailed Amy Yang by one entering the third round at 6-under par. She holds the outright lead at 13-under par with one hole to play when the resume action tomorrow morning.

“I didn’t set any goals coming into this week, but I know that recently I’ve been playing pretty well,” Feng said. “Every week, I know that I actually get pretty close of winning. So this week, I know that my record here is really good in Malaysia and I’ve won here before. Finished second last year. So coming back here, I’ve had so many good memories that I’m really relaxed and really enjoying the week. Of course, I think that really helps me to bring out my A Game.”

Round three was suspended Saturday evening at 6:50 pm due to darkness. Play will resume at 7:15 am on Sunday morning. Players will go off both the first and 10th tee’s for the final round which will begin at approximately 7:44 am.
