Ha Na Jang and Hee Young Park in the early rain and winding conditions on Friday moved into a share of the lead on day two of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship.

Jang and Park started the day two back of the lead in a tie for fifth with three others after the first round. Both followed up their opening round three-under-par, 69 with another 69 on Friday and made it look easy despite the challenge of the weather.

Jang off to a good start this week despite the weather conditions in Taiwan.

“I mean, this week is more like just be patient is very important, because weather is so bad and the golf condition so bad, too,” said Jang. “That's why I'm just hitting fairway, the green. Very important this week, yep, this weather, this score.”

Park didn’t let today’s weather hinder her game.

“Today always difficult with wind and I have to every single shot really careful and more think about. Makes more tired. So hard to focusing end of the hole, so that's why I tried to - it is my opinion - not much smile and keep calm until finish,” said Park. “You know what? I improved my putting, so I had confidence from putting. I think that that came from the confidence. Even released my whole shot. That's why I think I hit it more aggressive and more had confidence.”

So Yeon Ryu, Shanshan Feng, Lee-Anne Pace and Brooke Henderson sit one shot off the lead in a tie for third.
